10/11/11

1)  Start with an establishing shot.  This sets the scene in a sequence.
     Find unusual angles that make the shot more enjoyable and interesting.

2)  Establishing shots don't necessarily need to be wide shots.  A very tight shot can be just as effective, like being zoomed in on a scalpel with light glinting off it.
     Lean in and out rather than zoom in and out.  This is much more effective because as the camera zooms, any motion is made more apparrent.  If you just lean in and out, though, the shot is better.
